The Problem
TVs Are Easy. Everything Around Them Is Not.

A flat screen on a wall is simple. What is never simple: eight components and their heat, a soundbar, game consoles and their controllers, two generations of cables, and the visual weight of a black rectangle dominating the room. An entertainment wall is a cabinetry problem disguised as a TV problem.

We build media walls that solve the whole equation, ventilated equipment bays with wire chases, deep drawers for controllers and media, shelving that balances the screen’s mass, and paneling or shelving above the fireplace when the TV lives there. When the screen is off, the wall reads as a library or a paneled feature, not an electronics rack.

See a recent built-in entertainment center, our room-defining media built-in, and even a built-in aquarium wall for the range of what these walls can carry.

Heat and wires first: every equipment bay we build gets passive ventilation and open wire chases as standard. Cooked receivers and drilled-after-the-fact cable holes are what you get when a TV wall is designed as furniture instead of infrastructure.

Formats
Media Built-Ins We Build

Full Media Wall
Floor-to-ceiling across the room’s main wall: TV bay, equipment cabinet, display shelving, closed storage below. The living-room flagship.
Fireplace Media Surround
TV above or beside the fireplace with cabinetry unifying both, mantel, paneling, and bays engineered around masonry and heat.
Bedroom & Den Units
Smaller-scale media dressers and wall units, often with hidden lift or pocket-door TV concealment.
Game & Family Rooms
Durable painted walls with console bays, controller drawers, snack storage and display for the family that actually uses the room hard.

Craft
Furniture Construction, Infrastructure Thinking

Like all our built-ins, media walls are shop-built from solid hardwood and furniture-grade plywood, sprayed with conversion varnish, and installed as finished units scribed to your walls. Painted maple and poplar suit most family rooms; walnut and white oak turn a media wall into the room’s best piece of furniture. If your project leans more books than screens, start at our built-in bookcases page, most projects end up somewhere between the two.

Yes, pocket doors, lift mechanisms, and sliding art panels are all options we have built. Concealment adds mechanism cost but transforms formal rooms.
We build the infrastructure, chases, grommets, ventilation, outlet cutouts, and coordinate with your electrician or AV installer so everything lands where the drawings say.
Any current size including 85-inch-plus screens and projection setups. We design the bay around the screen you own or plan to buy, with breathing room for the next one.
Yes, matching a kitchen we built is trivial, and matching existing trim or furniture from a sample is regular work for our finishing room.
