Why Custom
Why a Stock Vanity Is Usually the Wrong Answer

Bathrooms are the least forgiving rooms in a house for cabinetry. Stock vanities come in 6-inch increments, so almost every bathroom ends up with awkward filler strips, a sink that is not centered on the mirror, or storage that ignores the plumbing running through the middle of the cabinet.

A custom vanity is built to the half inch. It wraps around your supply lines instead of losing a drawer to them, aligns with your tile layout, and uses the exact height that fits the people who actually use the room. That is the difference you feel every morning for the next thirty years.

We are Choice Custom Cabinetry & Design, an Amish shop in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania. We have been building bathroom cabinetry alongside our custom kitchens since 1979, same solid hardwood, same dovetail drawers, same finish standards.

Moisture matters: bathrooms swing in humidity daily. Our vanities use solid hardwood frames and doors with furniture-grade plywood boxes and conversion varnish finishes, materials that handle steam without swelling, unlike the MDF used in most store-bought vanities.

What We Build
Vanity Styles We Build Most Often

Every vanity starts as rough lumber in our Honey Brook shop. These are the formats Pennsylvania homeowners ask for most:

Single Vanities
24 to 48 in
Powder rooms and hall baths. Maximum storage in minimum footprint, drawers sized around the trap, not lost to it.
Double Vanities
Most requested
Master baths from 60 to 96 inches. His-and-hers drawer banks, shared linen tower, hardware aligned to the faucet centers.
Floating Vanities
Modern
Wall-mounted with hidden steel cleats. Popular in contemporary renovations, we engineer the blocking so it never sags.
Furniture-Style
Traditional
Turned legs, beaded face frames, antique-style finishes. Reads as furniture, plumbs as a vanity.
Vanity + Linen Tower
Storage
A full wall solved at once: vanity, counter-height cabinet, floor-to-ceiling linen storage, all in matching grain.
Custom Height & ADA
Comfort
Standard is 32 inches; comfort height is 36. We build to the inch for your household, including accessible layouts.

Process
From Measurement to Installed Vanity

The process is the same one we use on full kitchens, scaled to your bathroom:

1
Measure and design
We measure the room, locate every supply line and vent, and design around them. You get a drawing showing exactly what will be built, with 3D design available for larger baths.
2
Choose wood, finish, and top
Painted poplar and maple are the most popular for baths; white oak and walnut for natural-grain looks. We help you match undermount sinks and stone tops.
3
We build it in Honey Brook
Your vanity is built by the same craftsmen who build our kitchens, solid hardwood face frames, dovetail drawers, soft-close hardware as standard.
4
Delivery and installation
Our own crew delivers and installs across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware. Learn more about delivery and installation.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Most of our custom vanities fall between $2,800 and $7,500 depending on size, wood species, and finish, a 36-inch painted single runs near the bottom of that range, a 72-inch double in white oak near the top. See our full vanity cost guide for real project numbers.
Typically 6 to 8 weeks from approved drawings to installation, faster than our full kitchens because the scope is smaller. Rush timelines are sometimes possible, ask when you request a quote.
We build the cabinetry and coordinate directly with local stone fabricators we have worked with for years, so the top, sink cutout, and faucet drillings fit the first time. You can also supply your own top.
Yes. We custom-mix stains and paints in our finishing room and can match a door profile from a photo or a sample door. Matching bathroom cabinetry to a kitchen we built is one of the most common requests.
Yes, our crews regularly install in New Jersey (including the shore), Maryland, Delaware, and Northern Virginia.
