Search for Amish cabinets online and you will find mostly resellers, marketing sites that broker orders to shops they do not own. We are the shop. Choice Custom Cabinetry & Design has been building cabinets in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania since 1979; our semi-custom line is the same construction our local clients get, in a format we can build efficiently and ship.

Semi-custom means you pick from proven door styles, woods, finishes, and sizes in 3-inch increments (with custom widths available where it matters), and we build your order from rough lumber when it comes in. Not warehouse boxes. Not RTA particleboard. Cabinets built the week you order them, by the people whose name is on them.

Ready-to-assemble cabinets are cheap because they are particleboard flat-packs you assemble yourself. Big-box ‘semi-custom’ is mostly the same boxes with better marketing and 6-week lead times anyway. Our semi-custom costs more than RTA, and it should: solid hardwood faces, plywood boxes, dovetail drawers, and finishes sprayed by hand in a real finishing room. It is the difference between cabinets you replace in eight years and cabinets your kids argue over.

What semi-custom is not: full custom. If you need curved corners, exotic veneers, or inch-perfect built-ins, that is our custom shop’s work. Semi-custom is the honest middle: real construction, controlled options, shippable price.
